Schools are able to view reserved awards in FACTS by following these steps:
1. Visit: https://factsmgt.com/
2. Login to your FACTS account
3. Click on “Grant & Aid”
4. Click on “Grant Management”
5. Click on “Award Summaries”
6. In the ‘Current Report’ drop down you should now see the report “Student Award Summary” and it will list the Student's Name, Grade, and Total Amount (ACE Scholarship)
a. If your school is Contracted and uses FACTS for your own funding you will also want to ensure that in the ‘Fund’ drop-down only ‘Shared-ACE Scholarship’ reports is checked off
If the award amount is greater than $0, the student has been reserved a scholarship.
If the award amount shows $0, the student was not awarded.
Reserved awards are viewable to schools only (not applicants). We will send award/denial notifications to families after schools have had the opportunity to review reserved awards. The notifications to families will come from ACE via FACTS to the email the applicant listed on their application and be sent to all applicants who completed the application.
Award amounts are determined based on the tuition provided by the school when completing the annual School Partnership Agreement (not the amount the family enters on the application) in accordance with ACE guidelines. Award amounts are most often $2,000, $3,000, or $4,000 depending upon the state your school is in and the grade of the student awarded. Per ACE guidelines, awards cannot exceed 50% of tuition per student, so some amounts may be reduced accordingly.
Schools are encouraged to check FACTS regularly to monitor their applicants, awards, etc.
As always, if you have any questions, please let us know.
